A partnership to enhance safety, reliability and sustainability with advanced vision AI – public transport

NEC has announced a partnership Hayden AI, a leader in artificial intelligence and spatial analytics to deliver a seamless enforcement technology platform designed to improve road safety, sustainability and public transport reliability and accessibility in Australia and New Zealand.

🏙 Implemented to great success in buses in New York City, the MTA’s automated bus lane enforcement program has significantly increased compliance with dedicated bus lane restrictions.

🚍 According to the MTA, results show that 86% of drivers who receive a violation do not receive another, indicating that the program changes driver behaviour.

🚌 Additionally, the program has improved safety along deployed routes, with collisions along the M15-SBS down by 34% since automated bus lane enforcement began.
